I have had a passion for wood working for over 30 years. I have built furniture using old “found” items, giving them new life, as well as building from scratch. I came up with the name ‘Highlander Creations” because of my Scottish heritage and in honor of the Gordon Highlanders. The word “BYDAND” is the Gordon family motto and means “Stand and fight” / “Stand your ground”. And the thistle on the logo is the national flower and emblem for Scotland.
